Petal Words

Each puzzle is a flower. Swipe across its petals to spell words and fill the crossword above. A new flower blooms every day.

• A new daily flower, plus 600 classic levels
• Bonus words for the word-hoarders: each one earns a seed for the bee's hints
• Play the daily for your streak, or race everyone for the fastest bloom

The goal

Every word in the crossword is spelled from the letters on the flower. Find them all and the flower blooms.

Spelling a word

• Swipe from petal to petal, then let go to play the word.
• Each petal counts once per word. If a letter sits on two petals, you can use it twice.
• Slide back onto the previous petal to take the last letter off.
• Words need at least three letters.

A crossword word fills in its squares. A real word that isn't in the crossword goes in your jar as a bonus word. Tap the jar to see the ones you've found. Anything else just shakes.

Seeds and hints

• You start with 10 seeds.
• Each new bonus word earns one seed. Each classic level you finish earns two.
• Tap the bee for a hint. It fills in one letter of the shortest word you haven't found yet.
• In the classic levels a hint costs one seed. In the Daily flower it costs no seeds, but adds 20 seconds to your time.

The Daily flower

• Every daily has seven petals. A new one arrives at midnight UTC.
• The clock starts with your first letter, and stops while a menu is open.
• Finish it on consecutive days to build your streak.

Classic levels

• Levels grow from four petals to seven, with three to nine words to find.
• The Garden levels board counts the highest level you've finished.

Controls

• Touch or mouse: swipe across the petals. Tap the middle of the flower to shuffle, and tap the bee or the jar.
• Keyboard: type the letters, then press Enter to play the word. Backspace removes a letter, Space shuffles and Esc opens the menu.
