Coins unlock paid games and add-ons, and let you gift games to friends. Most games in the arcade are free to play.
And sparks?
Sparks are earned by playing, sharing scores and making friends. You never buy them.
Do I need coins to play?
No. Free games never ask for coins; you only need them to unlock paid games and add-ons.
Who gets the money?
When you unlock a game, most of what you spend goes to the studio that made it.
